This album came to be during a spontaneous studio session which also meant that we didn’t arrange or plan a lot of the music beforehand. We basically decided after each take what to record next: There are some collective improvisations, some jazz standards and one composition of mine in the mix. It’s this spontaneity that makes this music feel quite special to me. Something that was important to us when recording was trying to be in the moment and playing music that felt true to that moment.
